For those who love the supernatural, fall is the perfect season to explore the spooky spaces lurking around Victoria. Victoria's Ghostly Walks walking tours have been illuminating the darker side of Victoria's past for years.
"Our guides have collected more than five hundred tales of ghostly encounters in Victoria and have uncovered the sordid truth behind many of the city’s most gruesome crimes and tragic accidents. Ghostly Walks tours weave together Victoria’s ghosts and the stories behind them, bringing the dark history of our city to life." - Discover the Past - Ghostly Walks
If you're more of a DIY ghost hunter, you can choose your own haunted route with help from BC Mag's article on "Victoria's 15 Most Haunted Places". You can also check out the City's self-guided haunted heritage walking map or simply take a stroll down to Ross Bay Cemetery.
